Thank you for choosing Yayoi Sushi! To ensure a smooth and secure transaction, please review our Payment Terms below. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for all online orders:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
- PayPal: Secure online payments through PayPal
- Other Payment Methods: (if applicable, e.g., mobile payments, gift cards, etc.)
All payments must be completed at the time of ordering to confirm your purchase.
2. Payment Processing

Pre-payment Requirement: As we require all orders to be pre-ordered and freshly made to order, payment is due at the time of checkout. No orders will be processed without full payment.

Payment Authorization: Upon placing your order, your payment will be authorized and processed. Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details, including the total amount charged.

Third-Party Payment Processors: All payment transactions are securely handled by trusted third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
3. Currency
All transactions are processed in CAD. If you are purchasing from outside our primary region, any additional charges, such as foreign transaction fees or currency conversion fees, are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Taxes

Sales Tax: Sales tax is applied to your order based on the local tax rate applicable to your delivery or billing address. The tax amount will be automatically calculated during checkout and added to your order total.

Other Fees: Delivery fees, packaging fees, and any other applicable charges (if any) will also be calculated and included in your final bill.
5. Order Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled up to 3days before the scheduled pick-up or delivery time for a full refund. Cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund, as preparation and/or delivery will have already begun.

Refunds: In the case of an incorrect or damaged order, we will process a refund or replacement based on our Return and Refund Policy. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for more details.

Late Payment: If payment for an order is not successfully processed within the time frame, your order will be automatically cancelled, and you will be notified.
6. Payment Security

7. Pricing and Currency

Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to change prices on our website at any time without notice. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.

Promotions and Discounts: Any promotional offers or discounts are applied before taxes and delivery fees. You must enter any promo codes at checkout to receive the discount. Promotions may have expiration dates and other terms.
8. Non-Refundable Items
Certain orders, such as custom or personalized items, may be non-refundable once prepared or delivered. These terms will be clearly communicated during the ordering process.
